1. Who we are

Florida Car Service is a chauffeured ground-transportation brand serving the State of Florida. Reservations booked through carserviceflorida.co are fulfilled in partnership with True North VIP LLC (“TNVIP”, the operator), which manages the booking database, payment processing, and dispatch. Both entities are part of the same company group.

2. Information we collect

When you request a quote or make a reservation, we collect:

Full name, email address, and phone number
Pickup and dropoff addresses, or the name of an airport, cruise terminal, or venue
Travel date, time, passenger count, and luggage count
Flight number and airline (only for airport arrivals — used for real-time flight tracking)
Vehicle preference and any add-ons selected (child seats, meet-and-greet, etc.)
Optional notes, special requests, or access requirements

When you pay for a ride, our payment partner Stripe collects card details and billing address directly. We never see your full card number — only the last four digits and expiration for receipt purposes.

When you browse this site, we collect standard server and device information: IP address, user agent, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics.

3. How we use your information

Confirm and fulfill your reservation — sending confirmations, driver assignments, flight-tracking updates, and post-trip receipts
Respond to customer service inquiries and quote requests
Process payments and issue refunds when needed
Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to the platform
Improve the site’s performance and the quality of our service (aggregate, de-identified analytics only)
Comply with legal obligations such as tax records, subpoenas, and insurance claims

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary with the following processors:

True North VIP (TNVIP)— the operator of record. Every booking submitted through this site is sent to TNVIP for dispatch, quoting, and payment processing. TNVIP maintains the authoritative booking record.
Stripe, Inc.— payment processing. Subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Resend (email delivery)— transactional email delivery for booking confirmations and receipts.
Google LLC— Maps, Places, and Distance Matrix APIs for address lookup and routing; Analytics for aggregate site usage.
Assigned chauffeur— your first name, phone number, pickup address, and flight number are shared with the driver assigned to your reservation so they can contact you and arrive on time.
Law enforcement or courts— only when legally compelled (subpoena, warrant, court order).

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

Session cookies to remember your form state between pages
Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic insights — no personally identifiable data
Google Ads conversion pixels to measure the effectiveness of paid campaigns

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling them will not prevent you from making a reservation, but some convenience features may stop working.

6. Data retention

Booking records are retained for 7 years to satisfy Florida tax reporting, insurance claim windows, and audit requirements. Marketing contact data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Raw server logs are retained for 90 days before aggregation.

7. Your rights

Florida residents

Under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (F.S. 501.701), as of July 1, 2024 Florida residents who meet applicable thresholds may request: (a) access to their personal data, (b) correction of inaccurate data, (c) deletion of their data, (d) a portable copy, and (e) to opt out of profiling and targeted advertising. Submit requests to privacy@truenorthvip.com.

California residents

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA: the right to know what data we hold, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate data, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. Submit CCPA requests to the same privacy address above.

EU and UK residents

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, the GDPR/UK GDPR applies. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and port your data. The legal basis for processing your booking data is contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)); for analytics it is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls on our internal systems. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as required under Florida Statute 501.171 and any other applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolves. Material changes will be announced at the top of the page and in an email to active customers when appropriate. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
