Statewide Florida Chauffeur

Private Chauffeured Ground Transportation Across Florida

Florida Car Service is a statewide Florida chauffeur operation based in Miami. We provide private, pre-booked chauffeured ground transportation for airport transfers, hourly charter, corporate travel, and cruise terminal transfers across Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Naples and Key West. Every ride is quoted in advance, dispatched from a live operations desk, and covered by real-time flight tracking when it touches a Florida airport.

We cover eight Florida airports — MIA, FLL, PBI, MCO, TPA, JAX, RSW and EYW — and the four primary cruise terminals: PortMiami, Port Everglades, Port Canaveral and Port of Tampa. Three vehicle classes (Luxury Sedan, Executive SUV, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van) are selected at booking based on party size and luggage count.

Airport pickups run on flight-tracked scheduling: our dispatch desk monitors your inbound flight number from the moment your plane pushes back at origin, and the assigned chauffeur arrives at the terminal curb timed to your actual wheels-down rather than the published schedule. At MIA, pickups happen at the Arrivals Level 1 curbside across from baggage carousels in Terminals D, E, F, G, H, or J — Terminal D handles most American Airlines domestic banks, Terminal E and J handle international arrivals where the 60-minute complimentary wait window applies. At FLL, the driver stages in the lower-level arrivals lane at Terminals 1 through 4, with Terminal 1 covering Southwest and JetBlue and Terminal 4 handling most international carriers. MCO pickups use Terminal A or Terminal C depending on your carrier — the new Terminal C opened in 2022 and serves a growing roster of international and low-cost carriers. TPA uses the main terminal arrivals curb on Level 1 near the blue-side elevators, one of the fastest airport-to-vehicle handoffs in Florida because of Tampa's compact single-terminal layout. PBI in West Palm Beach uses the dedicated ground-transportation lane on the lower level, and JAX pickups stage at the commercial vehicle curb outside the main baggage hall on the arrivals level.

Pricing is fixed at booking and covers the chauffeur, the vehicle, all tolls on the Florida Turnpike, Dolphin Expressway, I-595 Express, Sawgrass Expressway, Veterans Expressway in Tampa, and the 408/417/429 network around Orlando. There are no surge windows even during peak demand periods like Art Basel week in Miami Beach, Formula 1 weekend at Hard Rock Stadium, or holiday travel around Thanksgiving and Christmas. There are no fuel surcharges, no gratuity line items added post-trip, and no toll pass-throughs where the rider reimburses SunPass charges after drop-off. The fare you accept at booking is the fare you pay at the end of the ride. Hourly charters start at a two-hour minimum with mileage-free routing inside the booked metro area, and extensions are billed in 30-minute increments at the same hourly rate confirmed at booking.

Popular Routes

High-Volume Florida Corridors

Fixed-rate transfers between Florida's busiest city–airport pairs. Durations are typical off-peak estimates — peak-hour windows (weekday mornings 7–9 AM and evenings 4–7 PM) can add 15–30 minutes on corridors like I-95 through Broward, I-4 through Orlando, or the Howard Frankland Bridge into Tampa. All tolls are included in the quoted fare.

Where We Operate

Regional Coverage Across Florida

South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach). The densest coverage zone. Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Hollywood, and Doral each have dedicated driver pools. Airport runs from South Florida touch MIA, FLL, and PBI — the three airports within a 90-mile corridor along I-95. Cruise traffic flows to PortMiami (accessed via the Port Boulevard tunnel from I-395) and Port Everglades (off US-1 at the 17th Street Causeway in Fort Lauderdale). Brightline rail stations in Miami Central and Fort Lauderdale generate a growing share of intercity connections — riders arriving by train and continuing by private car to meetings in Brickell, events on South Beach, or FLL cruise terminals. South Florida is also the origin for most cross-state transfers to Orlando, Tampa, Naples, and Key West.

Central Florida (Orange, Osceola, Seminole). Orlando, Kissimmee, and Winter Park anchor the central region. MCO is the primary airport, and the surrounding theme-park corridor (Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, ICON Park) generates consistent transfer volume. The Convention Center district on International Drive is a corporate-event hub, and Brightline's Orlando station at the airport connects intercity rail passengers who need ground transport to resort properties, offices in downtown Orlando, or the Lake Nona medical cluster. Port Canaveral, about 50 miles east on the 528 Beachline Expressway, handles Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Norwegian embarkations from Florida's Space Coast.

Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida. Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Sarasota fall under the TPA airport coverage area. The Port of Tampa cruise terminal on Channelside Drive handles Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Norwegian sailings — most riders connecting from TPA take the Selmon Expressway or Crosstown route and arrive at the terminal in under 15 minutes. Further south, Naples and Fort Myers connect through RSW (Southwest Florida International), with the typical Naples-to-RSW run covering about 35 miles on I-75 in 40 minutes outside snowbird season. The snowbird months from November through April are the peak demand window for RSW and Naples transfers, with seasonal residents arriving on weekly charter flights from the Northeast and Midwest. Raymond James Stadium and Amalie Arena in Tampa drive event-night surges that we pre-staff with dedicated vehicles staged at nearby hotel lots.

Northeast Florida and the Keys. Jacksonville is served by JAX with transfers across Duval County, the Beaches communities (Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra), and Amelia Island. At the opposite end of the state, Key West connects through EYW for local airport runs and through longer-haul transfers up US-1 to Miami or Fort Lauderdale — a 160-mile drive that takes roughly 3.5 hours depending on Seven Mile Bridge traffic and seasonal congestion through Islamorada and Key Largo. Key West transfers peak during Fantasy Fest in October, holiday weeks in December, and the spring-break corridor from mid-February through April. Drivers on the Keys route carry extra water and a secondary phone charger because cell service drops between Marathon and Big Pine Key.

Policies That Matter

Wait Time, Flight Tracking & Cancellation

These are the three policies most riders ask about. The numbers below are the working rules our dispatch team operates by — no fine print, no exceptions, no hidden clauses that only surface after a dispute.

Flight Tracking

All airport pickups include real-time flight tracking tied to your flight number. Pickup times automatically adjust for delays at no extra cost — if your inbound is 45 minutes late, the chauffeur repositions accordingly instead of charging idle time. This applies at every Florida airport we serve: MIA, FLL, PBI, MCO, TPA, JAX, RSW and EYW.

Wait Time

Complimentary wait time is 15 minutes for scheduled street pickups, 60 minutes for international airport arrivals (to cover customs, immigration, and checked-bag retrieval), and 30 minutes for domestic arrivals. The clock starts at actual wheels-down, not the scheduled arrival time, so flight-tracked delays never eat into your wait window.

Cancellation

Free cancellation more than 24 hours before pickup — no questions, no processing fee, full refund. 50% charge for cancellations within 24 hours because the vehicle and driver have already been assigned and staged. Full charge for no-shows. If your plans change inside the 24-hour window, call dispatch and we will work to reschedule rather than cancel outright.

About Florida Car Service

Who We Are & How We Operate

Florida Car Service is a chauffeured ground transportation company headquartered at 100 SE 2nd St, Miami, FL 33131. We operate a dispatch desk that answers phones and routes vehicles around the clock, and we focus exclusively on Florida — no national call center, no out-of-state handoffs.

Our capability set is narrow on purpose. We run three vehicle classes — Luxury Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class or BMW 7 Series, three passengers with three full-size bags), Executive SUV (Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator, six passengers with six bags plus golf clubs or strollers), and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van (eight to fourteen passengers depending on configuration, with a dedicated luggage bay). Six service lines cover the full range: airport transfer, hourly charter, corporate transportation, cruise port transfer, wedding transportation, and event transportation. Drivers are professional chauffeurs trained on Florida airport approaches, terminal pickup protocols, and the state's toll-road routing — SunPass on the Florida Turnpike, Dolphin Expressway (SR-836), I-595 Express through Broward, Sawgrass Expressway to western suburbs, Veterans Expressway in Tampa, and the 408/417/429 network around Orlando.

Every booking is pre-quoted and confirmed in writing before a vehicle is assigned. There is no metered pricing, no surge multiplier, and no rideshare algorithm deciding who shows up. The driver assigned to your ride is dispatched from our Miami operations desk, receives your itinerary with terminal, flight number, and passenger count, and stays in contact with dispatch for the full duration of your trip. If a route change is needed mid-ride — a detour to a second hotel, an unplanned stop at a pharmacy — the dispatcher adjusts in real time and confirms any fare change before the driver proceeds.

The geographic coverage spans twenty Florida cities — from Key West at the southern tip of the Keys to Jacksonville on the northeast coast. The heaviest demand corridors are Miami–MIA, Fort Lauderdale–FLL, Orlando–MCO, and Tampa–TPA, but we run steady volume on cross-state runs like Miami to Orlando (roughly 235 miles via the Turnpike, 3.5 to 4 hours), Fort Lauderdale to Tampa (about 280 miles on I-75 and I-4, 4 hours), and Naples to Miami (125 miles on I-75 and Alligator Alley, around 2 hours). Cruise port transfers are the other high-volume category: PortMiami sees roughly two dozen ships on peak embarkation days, and we position vehicles at the terminal garage by 10 AM for noon sailings; Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale handles a similar volume with a different traffic pattern because riders often connect from FLL rather than MIA.

Corporate accounts are billed monthly with cost-center tagging, passenger manifests, and a single point of contact for schedule changes. We handle recurring executive commutes, multi-day investor roadshows across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, and conference-week fleet deployments where dozens of vehicles rotate between hotels, convention centers, and dinner venues on a published shuttle schedule. Wedding transportation packages include a site survey of the ceremony and reception venues, a rehearsal-day walkthrough with the event coordinator, and a dedicated day-of dispatch line for real-time adjustments — late photographer arrivals, weather-related venue changes, and overtime extensions are handled without the couple needing to call a general reservations number. Event transportation for conferences, galas, and sporting events covers group staging at designated loading zones, sequential departure waves timed to program breaks, and post-event holding for VIP exits when the main crowd has cleared.

FAQ

Florida Car Service Questions

What does Florida Car Service do?+

Florida Car Service is a statewide Florida chauffeur operation. We provide private, pre-booked chauffeured ground transportation for airport transfers, hourly charter, corporate travel and cruise terminal transfers across Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Naples and Key West, covering MIA, FLL, PBI, MCO, TPA, JAX, RSW and EYW.

Which Florida airports do you cover?+

We cover eight Florida airports: Miami International (MIA), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL), Palm Beach International (PBI), Orlando International (MCO), Tampa International (TPA), Jacksonville International (JAX), Southwest Florida International (RSW) in Fort Myers, and Key West International (EYW). Every airport pickup includes real-time flight tracking so pickup times adjust automatically for delays.

How does airport pickup actually work?+

For arrivals, your driver monitors the inbound flight, parks on-site, and meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. At MIA that is typically Terminal D (American), Terminal E or Terminal J depending on your carrier; at MCO we coordinate with Terminal A or Terminal C. Complimentary wait time is 60 minutes for international arrivals and 30 minutes for domestic arrivals.

Do you transfer to PortMiami and Port Everglades?+

Yes. We run cruise terminal transfers to PortMiami (typically via I-395 and the Port Boulevard bridge), Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale (via I-595 to Eller Drive), Port Canaveral from MCO, and Port of Tampa from TPA. Luggage assistance is included and we stage the vehicle to match your boarding window.

What vehicles are in the fleet?+

Three classes: Luxury Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class / BMW 5 Series — 3 passengers, 3 bags), Executive SUV (Cadillac Escalade / Lincoln Navigator — 6 passengers, 6 bags), and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van (Sprinter Executive — 12 passengers, 12 bags). Vehicle class is selected based on party size and luggage count at booking.

Is there a minimum for hourly charter?+

Hourly charter has a two-hour minimum. It is used for meetings, roadshows, and multi-stop itineraries across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Orange (Orlando) and Hillsborough (Tampa) counties — for example, a Brickell-to-Coral-Gables-to-Aventura circuit, or an MCO arrival followed by a Lake Nona meeting and a return to the airport.

What is the cancellation policy?+

Free cancellation more than 24 hours before pickup. Cancellations inside 24 hours are charged at 50%. No-shows are charged in full. For rides staged on toll corridors such as Florida Turnpike or I-75 Alligator Alley, notifying dispatch early lets us reposition the vehicle efficiently.

Do you handle corporate accounts?+

Yes. Account-based transportation covers business travelers, roadshows and executive transfers across Florida — including recurring MIA–Brickell runs, TPA–Downtown Tampa patterns, and multi-city itineraries such as Miami to West Palm Beach up I-95 or Tampa to Orlando on I-4. Account billing is centralized and monthly.

Do you serve Naples, Fort Myers and Key West?+

Yes. Naples rides typically route through RSW (Southwest Florida International) in Fort Myers, or from Miami via I-75 Alligator Alley. Key West is served from EYW (Key West International Airport) and by ground from MIA along US-1 through the Overseas Highway and the chain of Keys.

How far in advance should I book?+

For MIA, FLL and MCO arrivals at peak season (December through April), 24 hours notice is recommended. For Sprinter Van bookings, weddings at South Beach and Coral Gables venues, and hourly charter during Art Basel or Formula 1 Miami GP weekends, book as early as possible.
