Private chauffeured transfers to and from every commercial airport in Florida and every major private-aviation FBO. Flight tracking adjusts pickup automatically for delays at no extra charge. Sixty minutes of complimentary wait on international arrivals, thirty on domestic, measured from wheels-down. Meet-and-greet inside baggage claim at the carousel assigned to your flight. Fixed all-in pricing — tolls, airport fees, and fuel included.
A Florida airport transfer is a pre-booked, fixed-rate private ride between a Florida address and a commercial airport or FBO, driven by a professional chauffeur in a late-model Luxury Sedan, Executive SUV, or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The price is quoted before booking and includes tolls, airport access fees, fuel, and the driver. There is no distance meter, no per-minute charge, and no surge pricing during peak events, late nights, or bad weather.
The service covers every commercial Florida airport — Miami International (MIA), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL), Orlando International (MCO), Tampa International (TPA), Jacksonville International (JAX), Palm Beach International (PBI), Southwest Florida International (RSW) in Fort Myers, and Key West International (EYW). It also covers private-aviation arrivals at Opa-Locka, Miami Executive, Fort Lauderdale Executive, Boca Raton Airport, Naples Municipal, and Kissimmee Gateway, plus Brightline stations when a rail leg connects to or from a flight.
Every booking is linked to the airline live-arrival feed. If the flight lands early, the chauffeur is already at the carousel. If it lands three hours late, dispatch holds position at the cell phone waiting lot and repositions on wheels-down. Arrivals are met inside baggage claim with a printed or digital name board; international arrivals are met past the customs exit. The passenger receives the chauffeur name, phone number, and vehicle license plate by SMS the moment the flight touches down.

What happens when things go wrong
Travel is unpredictable. These are the realistic scenarios — flight delays, weather, missed connections — and exactly how dispatch handles each.
Flight delayed by hours
Your reservation is linked to the airline live feed. Dispatch holds the chauffeur at the cell phone waiting lot and repositions to the carousel on wheels-down. No extra fee, no rebooking, no phone call required.
Flight landed 40 minutes early
The chauffeur is already in position. Live tracking shows the early arrival and the name-board is at the carousel before your bags come off the belt.
Flight cancelled and rebooked
Email or call dispatch with the new flight number. The reservation moves to the new itinerary at no penalty — even if the rebook is for the next day.
Summer thunderstorm ground stop
Ground stops at MIA and MCO during June–October storms hold inbound traffic. Dispatch holds position and reprices nothing. When the airline publishes an updated ETA, the chauffeur repositions.
Customs queue at MIA Terminal J
The 60-minute international wait is measured from wheels-down, which covers taxi, deplane, baggage, and a realistic CBP queue. Exceeding 60 minutes? Wait time is billed in 15-minute increments at the vehicle hourly rate — still cheaper than missing your meeting.
Missed cruise connection
If a late inbound flight threatens your cruise sailing window, dispatch expedites the transfer from MIA, FLL, or MCO directly to the cruise terminal. Chauffeurs hold commercial port credentials and know which terminal corresponds to each cruise line.
How pricing works
Every airport transfer is quoted as a fixed flat rate at booking. The fare is calculated from two inputs: the pickup or drop-off address, and the selected vehicle class. Tolls (SunPass, I-95 express lanes, Florida Turnpike, 595 Express, Homestead Extension), airport access fees, and fuel are included in the quoted number.
There is no distance meter, no per-minute charge, no surge pricing during peak events, no night-rate increase for red-eye arrivals, and no holiday premium. A 2 AM pickup from MIA to Brickell on New Year Eve is quoted at the same base structure as a 2 PM Tuesday pickup in March. The price you accept at booking is the price on your final receipt.
The only post-booking fare changes are passenger-initiated: adding a stop, upgrading the vehicle class, or extending wait time beyond the included grace period (60 minutes international, 30 minutes domestic, 15 minutes scheduled). Gratuity is discretionary and typically 15 to 20 percent.
Cancellations made more than twenty-four hours before pickup are refunded in full. Cancellations within twenty-four hours are billed at fifty percent. No-shows are billed at one hundred percent. Mandatory airport closures due to hurricane or evacuation waive the cancellation window. Flight cancellations with rebooking move the reservation with you at no penalty.

Answers to the most common questions we get about booking airport car service in Florida.
What happens if my flight into MIA or MCO is delayed?
Your reservation is linked to the airline live-arrival feed. If your flight into Miami International or Orlando International is two hours late, dispatch holds the chauffeur at the cell phone waiting lot and repositions to the carousel when wheels-down is confirmed. There is no extra fee and no rebooking. If the flight is cancelled and you rebook for a different day, email or call dispatch with the new flight number and the reservation moves with you at no penalty — this is covered under the automatic flight tracking policy.
How much complimentary wait time is included at Florida airports?
Sixty minutes for international arrivals at MIA, MCO, and FLL, measured from wheels-down. Thirty minutes for domestic arrivals on the same wheels-down basis. Fifteen minutes for scheduled departures and residential pickups. These windows are calibrated to the realistic time to taxi, deplane, reach the assigned carousel, and clear CBP at Terminal J (MIA) or Terminal C (MCO). Wait time beyond the included grace period is billed in fifteen-minute increments at the vehicle hourly rate.
Where will I meet my chauffeur at Miami International Airport?
The standard meet-and-greet at MIA places the chauffeur inside baggage claim at the carousel assigned to your flight with a printed or digital name board. Domestic arrivals wait at the carousel itself. International arrivals at Terminal D, E, F, G, H, or J are met just past the customs exit on the lower level. You receive the chauffeur name, phone number, and vehicle license plate by SMS the moment your flight shows wheels-down. Curbside pickup on the departures level is available on request — note it in the reservation.
Do you transfer directly from Florida airports to cruise ports?
Yes. The routine airport-to-cruise transfers are MIA to PortMiami (12–20 minutes via MacArthur Causeway), FLL to Port Everglades (8–15 minutes), MCO to Port Canaveral (45–60 minutes via SR-528 Beachline), and TPA to Port of Tampa (10–15 minutes). Chauffeurs hold the commercial credentials required to enter the cruise terminal drop-off lane and know which terminal number corresponds to each cruise line (Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL, MSC, Disney) so you unload steps from the porters.
Can I request child seats for an MCO family transfer?
Yes. Rear-facing infant seats, forward-facing toddler seats, and high-back boosters are available for any MCO transfer at no extra charge and are installed before the chauffeur leaves to meet you. Specify each child age and weight at booking so the correct seat is loaded. This is the most common request on MCO-to-Walt-Disney-World and MCO-to-Universal-Orlando transfers and is supported on every vehicle class from Luxury Sedan to Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
What if my group has more than six passengers and lots of luggage?
For seven or more passengers, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Executive seats twelve and holds twelve full-size bags. Groups exceeding twelve are split across multiple vehicles dispatched to arrive at the same carousel simultaneously. Families on long-haul international flights with checked bags for every passenger usually need the Sprinter even at six passengers because of luggage volume — note the total bag count at booking and the vehicle will be sized appropriately at no surprise upgrade.
Is the price really fixed, or does it change with traffic or tolls?
The quoted price is the final price. It includes the fare, fuel, all tolls (SunPass, I-95 express lanes, Florida Turnpike, 595 Express, Homestead Extension), airport access fees, and the chauffeur. I-95 gridlock during a Dolphins game or a summer thunderstorm closing I-4 does not adjust your fare. The only post-booking fare changes are passenger-initiated: adding stops, upgrading the vehicle class, or extending wait time beyond the included grace period.
Which Florida airport should I fly into for Naples or the Keys?
For Naples and Marco Island, Southwest Florida International (RSW) in Fort Myers is 35–45 miles north and is the practical airport for nearly every Naples-bound passenger — Miami International is 125 miles east across Alligator Alley. For Key West, EYW has limited flight options; many travelers fly into MIA and take a ground transfer down US-1 through Key Largo, Islamorada, and Marathon. The drive is roughly 3.5 hours and includes Seven Mile Bridge; photo stops can be added on request.
Do you cover red-eye and early-morning flights?
Dispatch is staffed around the clock. Two AM arrivals into MIA from South America, five AM departures out of MCO for the Northeast, red-eye FLL departures on Spirit and JetBlue — all are covered with full vehicle selection and no overnight surcharge. Early-morning departure pickups are calculated backward from your boarding time with live traffic awareness on I-95, the Turnpike, I-4, I-275, and I-595 so the buffer is realistic, not guessed.
What is your cancellation policy for airport transfers?
Cancellations more than twenty-four hours before pickup are refunded in full. Cancellations within twenty-four hours are billed at fifty percent of the quoted fare. No-shows without prior cancellation are billed at one hundred percent. Mandatory airport closures due to hurricane or evacuation orders waive the cancellation window — no charge. Flight cancellations with rebooking for a later date move the reservation with you at no penalty, which is separate from the standard cancellation ladder.
Do you offer hourly charters in addition to airport transfers?
Yes. Many passengers combine an airport pickup with an hourly charter for the same day — for example, MIA arrival at 10 AM followed by three hours of meetings in Brickell and Coral Gables, then drop-off at a Miami Beach hotel. The quote combines the airport transfer base with the hourly block starting at the airport pickup time. Minimum hourly is two hours. See the hourly charter service page for full details.
Is Florida Car Service available at smaller airports and FBOs?
Yes. In addition to the eight commercial airports (MIA, FLL, MCO, TPA, JAX, PBI, RSW, EYW), we cover private-aviation arrivals at Signature, Atlantic, Million Air, and Sheltair FBOs at Opa-Locka Executive (OPF), Miami Executive (TMB), Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE), Palm Beach (PBI North general aviation), Boca Raton (BCT), Naples Municipal (APF), St. Petersburg/Clearwater (PIE), and Kissimmee Gateway (ISM). FBO arrivals are handled ramp-side with the same meet-and-greet standard applied at commercial terminals.
How far in advance should I book a Florida airport transfer?
For single-vehicle sedan or SUV bookings, twenty-four hours is typically sufficient outside peak event windows. For Sprinter vans and groups, forty-eight to seventy-two hours is recommended. During Art Basel, Miami Open, eMerge Americas, Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, Gasparilla, Orlando convention weeks, Daytona race weekends, Jaguars home games, and PGA events, book three to five days ahead to guarantee the exact vehicle class. Same-day bookings are taken subject to availability and dispatched within thirty minutes during business hours.
Do you serve the Brightline train stations as well as airports?
Yes. Brightline connects MiamiCentral, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Orlando MCO Terminal C. Many travelers combine a Brightline leg with a chauffeured transfer at one end — for example, MCO Terminal C arrival straight to the Brightline platform for a Miami-bound train, or Fort Lauderdale Brightline station to Port Everglades for a cruise. We handle both airport-to-station and station-to-destination transfers at the same fixed-rate structure.
What payment methods are accepted for airport transfers?
Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), ACH, wire transfer, and corporate account billing on established accounts. Bookings are authorized at the time of reservation and charged after the trip completes. For corporate accounts, rides consolidate to a single monthly invoice with cost-center or matter-number tagging at net-30 terms.
Serving MIA, FLL, MCO, TPA, JAX, PBI, RSW, and EYW with flight tracking, meet-and-greet at baggage claim, and fixed all-in pricing. Dispatch is staffed 24/7 — no after-hours surcharge.
