Wait Time Policy
How much complimentary wait time is built into your reservation, when overage fees apply, and how those fees are calculated.

Complimentary wait time
Airport arrivals
60 minutes
Starts when the flight wheels-down time is logged by the FAA. Covers deplaning, passport control, and baggage claim.
All other pickups
15 minutes
Starts at the scheduled pickup time. Includes hotel, residence, restaurant, office, and cruise-terminal pickups.
Why the difference
Airport arrivals have variability that ground pickups don’t: flight timing, customs/immigration for international arrivals, gate distance, baggage claim. Sixty minutes keeps your chauffeur available through the normal range of arrival experiences. Ground pickups are scheduled at your stated time — fifteen minutes of grace covers the usual checkout and luggage loading window.
Overage fees
After the complimentary window, wait time is charged at $1 per minute (equivalent to $60 per hour), billed in 15-minute increments. The overage fee is added to your final invoice or charged to the card on file and is shown as a separate line item on your receipt.
For hourly charters, the booked hours include driver availability — overage applies only when you exceed the booked duration, at the same per-minute rate.
How wait time is tracked
Airport arrivals
The clock starts at wheels-down as reported by FlightAware and cross-checked against the airline’s published arrival time. We do notstart the clock at the scheduled arrival time — if your flight is late, the free 60 minutes moves with you.
The chauffeur will contact you by text or phone once the aircraft is on the ground. Meet-and-greet customers are met inside the terminal at baggage claim; curbside pickups are met at the assigned door.
Ground pickups
The clock starts at the scheduled pickup time. The chauffeur will call or text on arrival. Overage accrues from the time they reach the pickup location.
Weather and flight delays
Flight delays are handled automatically under the Flight Delay Policy. The 60-minute complimentary window moves with the actual wheels-down time, so a delayed flight does not reduce your free wait time.
Florida summer thunderstorms can briefly halt tarmac operations. If a chauffeur is delayed reaching the pickup because of weather, the complimentary window extends to match the delay.
Stops and extra waits
Brief stops (under 5 minutes) are courtesy. Longer stops — a sit-down meal, a meeting, an errand — accrue wait time at the same per-minute overage rate. For planned multi-stop itineraries, we recommend booking hourly; the hourly rate is almost always cheaper than point-to-point plus wait-time fees.
Tolls and parking during wait time
Airport lot fees and toll charges incurred during wait time are passed through at cost — they are not included in the overage rate. Examples: the Miami International short-term garage, Orlando MCO Terminal parking, cruise-terminal short-term lots. These appear as separate line items on your receipt.
Questions about a specific trip?
If you have a reservation where the wait is likely to exceed the complimentary window — a customs-heavy international arrival, a long dinner between stops, a chauffeured shopping afternoon — let dispatch know in advance. We can price it as an hourly charter, which usually comes out cheaper and removes the overage uncertainty.
